The seemingly never-ending rabbit hole of opening things felt a bit frustrating at first, but the little things that also turned up alongside new things to open were hilarious.

Also that photo is priceless XD

I did try to throw in a couple of extra little details - and in hindsight could possibly have dropped in more Easter eggs for anybody who thought to use the examine command - but the need to make the original Inform7 code readable as a story in its own right was a little restrictive. I'm actually quite impressed how well Inform handles it, given that it did allow a couple of extremely basic puzzles along the way.

I'm glad the photo was worthwhile. It didn't exactly take a whole lot of effort, but making the cardboard speech bubble and editing the image to look vaguely Polaroid-ish did mean sinking an unusual amount of time into getting this ready to go online compared to the standard flash fiction pieces.
